The Perfect Kava Experience: A Modern Kava Preparation Method

Introduction

Kava, often referred to as "nature's relaxation beverage," has been cherished for centuries in the Pacific islands for its calming and stress-relieving properties. At our kava shop, we're committed to providing you with the highest quality kava and sharing the most effective and convenient ways to prepare this remarkable beverage. In this article, we'll walk you through a modern kava preparation method that ensures you get the most out of your Vanuatu Noble kava.

Ingredients and Equipment:

100 grams of high-grade Vanuatu Noble kava
    Filtered room temperature water
    Large jar (750ml)
    Lid (if available)
    2 additional jars (750ml each)
    Stick blender
    Large saucepan
    Nylon cloth
    Tea towel

Step 1: Measuring the Kava

Start by measuring out 100 grams of our premium Vanuatu Noble kava. This high-grade kava is renowned for its exceptional quality and potency, ensuring a delightful kava experience.

Step 2: Mixing with Water

Add the measured kava to a large jar of filtered room temperature water. Stir vigorously until the kava fully dissolves into the water. It's essential to ensure that no kava sticks to the bottom of the jar. If your jar has a lid, put it on and shake it vigorously for a few seconds to ensure a thorough blend.

Step 3: Dividing and Blending

Divide the kava-water mix into three separate jars, topping each one up to 500ml. This will result in a final kava-to-water ratio of 100 grams of kava to 1.5 liters of water. Using a stick blender, blend each jar of kava and water for approximately one minute. This step is crucial for achieving a smooth and consistent kava beverage.

Step 4: Filtering

Now it's time to filter your kava to remove any remaining kava particles. Take a large saucepan and cover it with a large piece of nylon cloth, ideally folded over a couple of times to create a sturdy filtration surface. On top of the nylon cloth, place a tea towel. To prevent the tea towel from absorbing too much of your beverage, it's a good idea to wet and rinse it first.

Gently pour the blended kava over the two cloths into the saucepan. Carefully grasp the outside corners and edges of the cloths, slowly bringing them together. The key here is to gradually tighten the corners and edges without spilling any kava. Once gathered, twist the cloth tightly to create a giant "kava tea bag." Squeeze out all the kava into the saucepan, ensuring none goes to waste.

Step 5: Serving and Enjoying

Rinse out two of the jars and pour your freshly blended, filtered kava beverage into them. This liquid gold is now ready to drink. For the best effects, enjoy your kava on an empty stomach at the end of the day, allowing it to help you unwind and relax. 100g kava is enough for 1 to 4 people to enjoy. Try 25g for a start. 40g - 50g is average. 100g is very strong.

Bonus Tip: Storage

If you have leftover kava, you can store it in the fridge for future use. Properly stored, your kava will maintain its quality and freshness for up to three days.

Conclusion

With this modern kava preparation method, you can enjoy the incredible benefits of Vanuatu Noble kava at its finest. It's a simple and effective process that guarantees a smooth, rich kava beverage that's perfect for unwinding and relaxing after a long day. Embrace the tranquility of the Pacific islands right in the comfort of your own home with this exceptional kava experience. Cheers to good health and relaxation!
