Ethnobotanical History: Catnip (sometimes called Catmint) is well known for its intoxicating effect on cats. When consumed by humans, catnip acts as a relaxant and mild psychedelic. Catnip users report relaxation, enhanced creative thinking and increased awareness of color. Some users also report mild psychoactive effects when smoked in combination with tobacco or other herbs. Catnip may enhance the psychoactive effects of tobacco. Catnip has been used for hundreds of years as a tea substitute as well as a herbal remedy for colds, insomnia and discomfort during menstruation.

Usage: A strong tea is best (25 grams Catnip in 1 liter water). Bring almost to the boil, then simmer for 15 mins. Add Stevia or honey to taste. Try one cup. Smoking Catnip at the same time a tea is drunk will increase the effect. Catnip combines very well with Damiana to produce a mild euphoric smoke or herbal tea. When mixing use 1/2 recommend amount of each. Catnip can also be consumed using a vaporizer.

Very Good

Very good, value for money, plant. Effects last longer than a hour, for me anyway. My dosage in a tea is only about a quarter, and that does me fine;) The only downside is a lingering tired feeling afterwards - I feel like lying around, like a cat.

I really like this product

I really like this product it gives a nice mellow buzz. very relaxing and clear and can have some visual elements to it. The description is very fitting. What i can say is 25g is a huge amount for a tea. 5 grams for me at most creates a very relaxed mind and body lasting 30-45 mins. Smoking lasts about half an hour and is very nice and minty flavor.
A really nice way to unwind and its really nice as a herbal tea as well. I cant really compare to cannabis as most do, its a lot diff not pushy but very relaxed. For the amount and the price its a bargain.
Smoking a gram will produce nice effects and can potentiate your fav herbs. A tea of 5 grams can really make for a relaxed hour for me anyways.

Fast delivery, and very well packaged. I made a somewhat strong tea.. nice citrusy, woody taste. If you enjoy green tea, you won't not enjoy this - quite similar in taste. Initial feelings.. very soothing, I just feel very relaxed.
