Herb of the Month - Calamus (June & July)

At MindFuel, we like to shine the spotlight on one remarkable ethnobotanical each month. While we've been busy behind the scenes lately, we've still been continuing our Herb of the Month tradition and sending out free samples with every order.

During June, we featured Calamus Root Powder, and for July we're continuing the Calamus journey with our Organic Calamus Root Chips.

Calamus (Acorus calamus) is also known as sweat Flag and is one of the world's most fascinating traditional botanicals. For centuries it has been valued in cultures across Europe, Asia and North America as a highly aromatic root, commonly prepared as a tea, decoction or simply appreciated for its distinctive spicy, earthy fragrance.

Our Organic Root Chips are ideal for those who enjoy preparing traditional brews or who prefer working with the whole herb, while the Root Powder offers a convenient option for recipes and other traditional preparations.
