Sinicuichi (Heimia salicifolia) is a perennial shrub with small narrow leaves and yellow flowers growing up to 1.5 meters. It is also known as "Mayan Sun Opener" or "Plant of the Yellow Vision".Sinicuichi users report relaxation, improved memory, pleasant drowsiness, cooling of body, mild intoxication and giddiness, darkening of vision, auditory hallucinations, a shrinking of the surrounding world, altered time/space perception.

Traditionally the leaves are removed and allowed to wilt a bit. They are then crushed, combined with cold water and placed in the sun for 24hrs to make a tea.If fresh material is not available, the dried herb may be crushed, steeped in hot water and allowed to sit in the sun for 24hrs before drinking.Warning: Regular heavy usage may effect memory and leave a yellow tint to vision the next day. When not prepared properly, some users report muscle aches.

Cultivation: Fill a tray with seed raising mix, wet, press flat, sprinkle seed on top, keep warm and moist until seeds germinate.
