Indigenous tribes throughout the Amazon have long used passionflower leaves for there sedative and pain-relieving properties. In large doses passion flower is said to be mildly hallucinogenic and have MAO-inhibiting properties.
Usage: Can be made into a tea. 15 grams / person in 1/2 liter water. Bring almost to boil, then simmer for 1/2 hr. Strain, sweeten to taste and drink. Can also be smoked, either alone or in combination with other herbs.
