Note: Kanna is an extremely brittle succulent. It is normal for clones to break up a bit during transport. Simply plant any broken off pieces in cacti potting mix alongside your main clone. These will soon root and grow as well. Rooting hormone will speed this rooting process. Do not over water. Kanna likes it very dry.
Ethnobotanical History: Kanna has been used for centuries as a mood enhancer by South African tribes. Kanna may elevate mood and decrease anxiety, stress and tension. In higher doses it may be very euphoric, initially with stimulation and later with relaxation. Traditionally Kanna has been inhaled as a snuff, smoked, chewed or drunk as a tea.
Warning: Our Cacti and Cacti Seeds are supplied with the intention of protecting biodiversity and to offer our customers some amazing ethnobotanical collection pieces. NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. Some of these specimens may be poisonous. Please handle all specimens accordingly. Keep them out of reach from children and animals.
