These hybrid San Pedro seeds are the result of crossing the Bolivian short spine San Pedro Cactus (Trichocereus scopilicolus) with the classic San Pedro Cactus (Trichocereus pachanoi).

The Bolivian short spine San Pedro Cactus (Trichocereus scopilicolus) grows 3–4 meters tall, and 8–10 cm in diameter, and is known for its unusually short spines.

The San Pedro Cactus (Trichocereus pachanoi) is a very quick-growing columnar cactus native to the Andes Mountains of Peru between 2000-3000m in altitude. It is also found in Bolivia, Chile and Ecuador.

Ethnobotanical History: Various strains of San Pedro Cactus have been used for healing and religious divination throughout South America for over 3000 years.
