First nation peace pipe tobacco, also known as Huichole tobacco or Woodland tobacco, is a tobacco native to South America. It is still employed by Central and South American shamans today. Thought to be one of the parents of Nicotiana tabacum, the basis of most modern tobacco production. It is often combined with Nicotiana rustica to lower the strength of N. rustica's tobacco, although it is a strong tobacco itself, with a higher nicotine content than regular commercial tobacco.

Good smoking material. The huge leaves sometimes measure a foot in width.

Not intended for human consumption.

Cultivation: Sow early to late Spring. Annual. 1.8m.
