What Is a Vaporizer?

What is a Vaporizer?Vaporizers are the new and healthier alternative to smoking. A Vaporizer is a device that gently heats herbs or tobacco, to a temperature just hot enough to vaporize their active ingredients, but not burn the plant material. A Vaporizer produces no smoke, but instead produces a thin white mist which can then be inhaled by the user. How does it work?Instead of using an open flame to ignite the herb, a Vaporizer uses a heating element (or other means) to gently heat the herb, to the temperature where only the active ingredients are released. What are the advantages of using a Vaporizer? When smoking tobacco or any kind of plant material, the smoker inhales a number of toxins and carcinogens. AN INTERVIEW WITH VINCE McLEOD Author of The Cannabis Activists Handbook.

What could be better than an R18 restricted legal Cannabis market in New Zealand? We certainly can’t think of much. We all know Prohibition has failed. It has caused harm far greater than the herb it is supposed to be protecting us from. But what exactly do we need to do in order to achieve legal Cannabis here in New Zealand? The recently released The Cannabis Activists Handbook by Vince McLeod sounds like a pretty good place to start. Upon ordering some copies of the book for our online headshop, the author was nice enough to allow us some of his time for an interview about his new book, as well as his advise on what we need to in order to be able enjoy a quiet smoke after work without the fear of arrest and imprisonment. MindFuel: Hey Vince, thanks for your time th..

Cannabis Law Reform in NZ

Cannabis prohibition is one of the most nefarious laws enforced upon the people of the world in the last century. Prohibition benefits no one other than big pharma, liquor and tobacco, the oil, plastic and timber industries, corrupt politicians and organized crime, all of whom have a vested interest in prohibition to maintain their cash-flow.Prohibition wastes police resources and turns our young people against the police. It maximizes the harms associated with cannabis use. It artificially inflates cannabis prices, resulting in a rise in real crime. It pushes the market into the hands of criminals who do not check I.D, pay taxes or have proper quality controls.
