Australia to allow prescription of MDMA and Psilocybin

Fantastic news from our friends across the ditch: From July, authorized Australian psychiatrists will be able to prescribe the MDMA and Psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and severe depression.
We highly commend the Australian therapeutic goods association (TGA) for showing wisdom and compassion with their decision to allow legal access to some forms of psychedelic therapy.
Following Israel, the US, and Canada, Australia is now the fourth country to enact a compassionate use program allowing psychedelic-assisted therapies to treat mental health conditions.
We trust the TGA's New Zealand counterparts at the Ministry of Health (MOH) are taking note and expect they will soon follow suit allowing those suffering greater access to novel treatments.
